Burp Reaction Headcanons - Sora (Patreon)

Next up, we got ourselves fan favorite, Sora!

Sora (Kingdom Hearts)

• Sora is a bit of a bottomless pit when it comes to eating, and he's very keen on stuffing himself to the brim at every opportunity he gets, and is prone to going overboard.  Meaning Sora's equally prone to letting loose as a result.
• When Sora burps, they can get pretty tremendous, but depending on the situation, his reactions will vary.
• For example, if say, Sora wolfed down his food way too fast in public and lets out a big belch unexpectedly, he'll scratch the back of his head, chuckle sheepishly and mutter a bashful, "Eh...h-heh...'scuse me..."
• Or, if he's really hungry and just demolishes something in a record pace, he'll interrupt himself with a large burp, smile sheepishly and once again mutter, "...H-Heh, sorry..."
• In contrast, around his friends, Sora has no shame whatsoever.
• Around any of them, whether Sora ate too much, too fast, or just chugged a soda, he will burp loudly and shamelessly.
• In instances like that, Sora's not bashful at all.  Instead, he'll sigh and shamelessly pat his belly with satisfaction, mumbling, "Ahhh, that felt good."
• If Kairi or Donald ever give him grief for his bad manners, Sora will just laugh and say, "Hey, it's a complement!  Goes to show how delicious the food is, y'know?"  Or, "Heh, hey, better out than in, right?"
• Around Riku or Roxas, when Sora lets loose, he'll just sigh contently and pat his belly in relief, since around them, they're all much more casual about letting loose amongst each other.
• Sometimes, to initiate a burping contest, when Sora burps, he'll turn to either of them, grin cockily and say, "Let's see you beat THAT..."
• Sora and Riku actually get into burping contests all the damn time, and when it's between them, it's honestly anyone's game since they can both let out some real monsters.
• With Roxas, Sora burps and eggs him on more to actually help him come out of his shell more and just do things friends do with one another.
• Sora can go *really* overboard on the binge-eating, ending up with an incredibly round, hefty dome of a gut.
• When Sora is so bloated that his shirt completely rides up above his big, tanned belly, his burps become absolutely titanic in size.
• When he's utterly overstuffed, Sora will dip his head back and let out a HUGE, lengthy belch that drags on for several seconds, leaving him groaning afterwards as he strokes his big, soft belly.
• His only response when he lets out a huge burp like that is either groaning in a dazed satisfaction, or to SLAP his big, sloshy belly and knock loose another massive afterburp.
• Sora can also totally burp on-command, so anytime someone tells him to say "excuse me", Sora will grin cheekily, swallow some air down, and loudly belch out the words, "EX-CUUUUSE...mmmMMMMEEEEEEEEEE-EEEEEUUUUUUuurrrp!!!!"  Then smack his lips, pat his stomach then laugh and insist that he technically DID excuse himself when that person inevitably gets angry...that person 100% being Kairi...or Donald.  
• Sometimes, his overeating catches up with him unexpectedly too.  So, Sora will be in the middle of something, then his flat stomach will rumble noisily and Sora will burp loudly and unexpectedly.  Either because he ate too much earlier or because maybe he took in a lot of air and didn't realize it.
• If that happens when Sora is in public, he'll cover his mouth, blush and say, "S-Sorry...d-dunno where that came from..."
• If it's around his friends, Sora will grunt and thump his chest a few times, either to clear his windpipes or to knock loose a smaller burp.  Then he'll grunt, "Oof...where'd that come from...?"  Or,  "Ugh, that doesn't taste nearly as good the second time..."
