Weekly Update - 172 (Patreon)

I can't tell you guys in words how ready I am to be done with Volume #1. I want it to be done and over with, so I can send it to the publisher, finish up Riley #9, draw BorderlineAxo's character sheet, and then get back to working on regular comics. I've been wanting that for... months. And I'm sure you have too.

Now we're still pretty much on time, I think, because I predicted we'd probably be able to get the books out in or around September (barring any printing delays of course). But I need to get the rest of these pages done before the end of this month before I can say for sure that I'VE fallen behind.

These last remaining pages from Chapter 2 are simply THE WORST though. Because of my choice in using fancy Photoshop layers to do things that really don't need them, porting it over to sai is a real chore now. It will PROBABLY result in a lower level of quality of pages overall throughout Chapter 2. I can't fix all of them. I guess, on the bright side, none of those pages will be worse than they already are, and some of them I'm actually still quite happy with, surprisingly. I guess Kiva's looked the most consistently fine to me since the beginning of the comic, with the exception of certain expressions.

Good ol' Patreon though... like less than a week after I complained about not being able to post that animation here, they've added that feature. I don't know how many animations I'll make, or how often, but at least now it seems like I can share them here with you guys!

Anyway, I could ramble at you all a bunch, but I'd rather get these pages done. It's so close!
