Redlining by Tiomara (Patreon)

Lately it's been taking me a full 5-6 days to make a single comic page. I'm thankful to HAVE the freedom to spend all my time drawing, and it feels like my effort is paying off. I'm really happy with how the most recent pages are coming, but my shoulder and wrist can only take so much, so I haven't really had any extra time for extra bonus art lately. My practice and warm-up sketches have just been rough early versions of the finished pages themselves, and it's usually hard to share any of that without spoiling upcoming story.

I don't know that it spoils much to say that Kiera is featured heavily in Chapter 4, however, (especially since Patrons can already read most of those pages right now!) and as some of you may know, she's also one of my first serious attempts at ever drawing a female. In fact, her debut on Page 3 was actually based on what is quite possibly the first ever sketch I've done of a female... which explains why it is just so terrible. >.< Her look has evolved as my art (and understanding of anatomy in general) has improved, and I'm pretty happy with her lately, but there was still one thing I didn't understand... BREASTS! I mean... I'm a gay man. What... what even ARE BREASTS? :P

I reached out to my friend  tiomara.productions to get some advice, and she was kind enough to do some redlining for me so I could better visualize what boobs are and how they do. This sketch shows off a portion of that, as well as some sexy, sassy Kiera sketches. And poor Kiva... who appears to have broken his brain.
