Probably no new comic this week. (Patreon)

Exercising my right to delay a week so I don't feel rushed and start half-assing things.  :P

I'm working on a page right now that I especially don't want to rush, considering how happy I am with the last two, and I didn't get much of a chance to work on it last week.  (The housework had fallen to unacceptable levels and needed a lot of catching up on.)

As a result, I'm probably not going to post a new full-color page this week.  That might change if, by some miracle, I ... no wait, today's already Tuesday, isn't it.  Nah, I don't think it's gonna happen.  However, I'll hopefully have one up next week, and I'm considering sharing a special minicomic I started on as the bonus Wednesday art this week.

I'm getting faster at making pages and drawing in general, but as a result I am finding yet more things I want to add to them to make them really awesome.  I'm playing with poses, framing, the general flow of pages, and how to lay them out better.  My latest kick has been making some real backgrounds, like... painted ones.  With almost as much effort put into them as I put into my characters.  I'm honestly pretty happy with how they are turning out, but it takes me SEVERAL ETERNITIES to make one.  Some day I'll hopefully be faster at those too!
