Every good hero needs a good origin story, right?  Well you better believe Super Puppy is no exception to THAT rule!

Here we see Spot and Fuzzy going about their daily lives as a regular cat and dog.  They can't speak, as they are regular pets, but luckily they appear to be telepathic.

Then they are hit by a meteor, that, rather than crushing them into oblivion, grants them instant super powers and... um... instant superhero costumes, already emblazoned with their new superhero initials!  Also apparently Spot gains super strength, which is almost certainly "Groovy."  When I was a kid, you see, I was obsessed with Earthworm Jim, so we'll see both cute references and blatant rip-offs all throughout these early issues.

It appears as though Spot is having some trouble getting used to his new powers, though, since he blows the meteor back into space, where it happens to find its way to another planet or moon (that is just about the same size as it).  Then, after destroying a planet or moon, it's time for the pets to eat dinner!  But whoops, Spot then accidentally shoots off his owner's hand with laser vision.  The owner, rather than reacting as any normal human might to just having lost his hand, tells Spot he's a bad dog, but Spot seems to be pretty chill about it.

That final line on this page pretty much summarizes the conclusion of most of the conflicts I wrote when I was a kid.  "Oh well, what are the rest of my powers?"

I'm not sure how frequently I want to post these pages yet.  There's too many to post weekly, but I don't feel like committing to daily posts either.  I imagine I'll try to keep up with posting a couple of them a week.
