what makes fire particularly dangerous is that it's the only thing that you can create without a source. for example, earth benders need earth, water benders need water, air benders need air. Fire comes from within and it can be used anywhere at anytime.

NO SPOILERS!!! however i wanna save y’all some time without giving away too much. no aang can’t just bend an element whenever he wants. he needs to learn how and to do that he needs to be taught how and he hasn’t been taught how to bend anything other than air yet so no aang can’t just bend earth to help out or really water either the other times he did he had no control and did it out of survival. with a lot of the lore and things happening there specific ways it most things have to happen

also no hate but you guys kind miss a lot of lore throughout some of the dialogue when your talking. the earth benders couldn’t bend because they were on a metal ship and earth benders can’t bend metal. a lot of the questions u guys have get answered in there own way even in small ways if u watch out for them that’s whats so good about this show it has game of thrones level details and call backs and but u gotta REALLY pay attention so u understand later
