it only hits harder when rewatching it. Even Kuro and maybe Buggy would likely beat Wapol. Funny you mention that afro guy was like Mineta and yet Wapol seemed like too much, when his ability is just a crappy version of Tamaki's quirk.

Buggy backstory refresher: Buggy and shanks were cabin boys on the same pirate. they found a devil fruit and a treasure map, Buggy faked eating the fruit and was gonna dip taking the map and the real fruit (planning to sell the fruit to buy a ship to get the treasure). Shanks accidentally surprised buggy making him drop the map in the ocean and accidentally eat and swallow the fruit. buggy jumped in the water to get the map but almost drowned because of eating the fruit. shanks jumped in and saved him, buggy blames shanks and hates him for him losing the map.
