May Poll: Ideas On Branching Out (Patreon)
Content
Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a fantastic April and goes into May full of high spirits! ^-^
I have been quite swamped with getting many jobs and projects finished as promptly as I am able, including my ever-growing list of commissions. I know I keep saying that there's plenty more to come. Well, that's because there's always plenty more to come. Because of my own ambitions to keep this channel going, there is always something to be worked on at any given time. It can be a lot, but it's also very exciting. I am still trying to be better about posting updates (making them shorter to increase general frequency) and staying around and active with communication. Part of that will be launching a Discord server for Patrons later this month. That has been something that I have been wanting to do for quite some time, and while I have been slightly worried about what that may entail, I can assure you all that that will be coming in the near future. More will be posted about that later.
But I wanted this month's poll to be another that helps direct the course of the channel. I have gone over many tickle stories in my time doing this. For many of them, like with any art form, there are a lot of tropes that seem to get repeated. Nothing wrong with that, that just means that they're effective and it's always fun to see how writers and artists and creators put their own unique spin on things. I've been reflecting on a lot of the stories that I typically write and wanted to list several of the tropes that I've found that I maybe haven't dabbled in as much. Many of my stories revolve around babysitters and tickle monsters, that sort of thing. I do still enjoy writing those, but I wanted everyone's input on what other common tropes that I haven't done as much of should I perhaps focus on for future originals. This isn't a guarantee that I'll write a story like that anytime soon, but it will help me get a better picture when conceiving one-off ideas should I need to get an original out on the fly.
So, which of these common story tropes or qualities should I maybe focus a little more on with original stories?
