Girls night out the bar. They need some down time. But seems like the bars started checking ID's.

This may be a more American question, but did you drink before you were 21? What was your first drink?

Sorry the schedule has been a little weird. Again later on a Wednesday. I'd expect the same next week. I'd say it will be the last off day for a while, but looking ahead at the holidays, I may do as adjusted schedule.

Since today’s topic is Alcohol apparently, I enjoy a beer with dinner occasionally but I only get drunk a couple times a year. I keep thinking I’m gonna try more wine, but I don’t. I have the wine palette of a child. At restaurants I get the same stuff again and again. A Modelo or some sort of Hefeweizen for beer, a Moscow Mule if I have money for cocktails, but with wine I just get whatever other people are ordering.

Not a big wine fan either. Doesn't sit right with me. I do a bourbon or bourbon cocktail on a date night out at a restuarant. No or less sugars. Nothing wrong with a standard drink.

You know thinking about it, why is trading ages above or below 21, not an "illegal" trade? seems VERY loophole-y

Solid question. In the US, 18 is considered to be a legal adult and grants access to ownership and full antonomy, as well as the armed forces and legal responsibility. Mostly the exceptions are drinking and renting a car. So, by default 18 becomes the age for trading. I could see arguments of the brain isn't fully developed until 25, and people fearing the damage this could do. I wouldn't be shocked if legislation suddenly raises the age for trades before Stephanie can trade back.
