Upcoming Pricing Changes (Patreon)

I was going to wait to post this, but it's always better if I mention this stuff closer to the start of the month, and so new Deciders can get the benefit of participating in this month's poll.

As teased with the Survey Results, I'm going to be increasing the pricing on the tiers on in May 14th (my birthday!) Once again, this will not directly affect any exisiting Patrons. But I wanted to take a moment to go over some options of what you can do in the month before the change to $5 Readers and $10 Deciders

Do Nothing.

You do not have to do anything. Currently the prices you pay ($2 and $5) are locked-in forever. I have no ability to change the price you are actively paying. You will continue to get the benefits for Readers and/or Deciders going forward at the same price you pay now.

Upgrade.

If you have been debating about joining the Decider tier and have been hesitant about it, now is the time before the price increases. I'm going to be shifting a lot of the bonus and behind the scenes content to that tier as well. My hope is to do a lot to make being a Decider a worth while experience.

Get an Annual Membership.

This is also a good time to become an annual member. If you tend to join, leave and join again to save money, you would end up paying a larger amount when you return. If you do an annual membership, you pay only once a year, so you don't have to worry about your card being charged every month. Also you save 16% off, which is the same as getting two months for free each year. Likewise, changing to annual now, locks in the current price for that tier as long as you are here.

Encourage Friends to Join.

Why not, if you have friends waiting to join and they aren't sure if they want to. Now is the time.
