I got invited to an advance screening in London of Episode IV: A New Hope, the first Star Wars movie, and from the moment the massive spaceship Tantive IV zoomed overhead... followed by the incredibly more massive star destroyer... I was hooked! You could read the comics version I suppose. I see that google-searching for "people who have never" the top suggestions are "worn shoes," "shaved," "cut their hair," "brushed their teeth," and in fifth position "never seen Star Wars"...

Nice! I was not around for the first movie and was a little too young to see Empire or Jedi when they came out. My parents like scifi, but weren't big fans of the movies. Didn't have the toys. Didn't have friends that had the toys. I did at some point see New Hope and Jedi. I was in college before I saw Empire. I pretty much saw all the rest of the movies as they came out in theatres for better or worse. I like them, but do not own any merch or shirts or anything. But I've mostly seen them because friends are partners motivated me to go with them. I think when I was answering this, that specifically asked what Gwen likes. It's hard for her to not like the same things I like. I like a lot of things with different levels of intensity. She's not me, but we have a good number of similarities. Her not liking things seems to put more of a hard line between us. I have friends that very pridefully claim they haven't seen star wars, or haven't seen since X movie. And think is more of her stance. She gets a little bit of pride out of not seeing the movies.
