Sorry, what romance? I'm too busy thinking about the man with non-kissable lips.

Watching this on (NOT) Crunchyroll.

I still don't like the character design for the male MC, when he has the chibi/derpy face he's fine. But in normal mode he feels robotic and unfeeling. I loved the introduction of the childhood friend, it seems like they're not going for the love triangle route, but instead for the overprotective older brother type. At least that's what I hope, because the story really lends itself to it and would raise so many interesting tangents.

but women love stoic men! D: (I think) I'm not a big fan of him suddenly getting so close to her and touching her :l I like Oushi so far as well! Fingers crossed it's not a love triangle!

So far I don't really like Oushi. He's so overprotective that it feels suffocating. Even Yuki's mom doesn't seem to be that overprotective. He's like trying to out-mom her mom lol. I hope he gets a redemption arc later on. About Itsuomi's lack of personal space, it's probably because he's travelled a lot. He experienced cultures where personal space is not a thing and it rub off on him maybe. lol is my bias so obvious right now or what?

I like his character, but not him in general (Oushi) haha. And I think they really got that through with him being overprotective and suffocating, like Yuki's in college, not a toddler who needs to be coddled. I thought about that for Itsuomi as well, sorta like that one foreigner who went up and kissed him on the cheek as a greeting. Though not everyone is privy to such culture and even if they are, they still might not like the closeness. Either way, I like that they brought it up last EP and getting it dismissed because "sometimes you overlook stuff because you like that person" xD
