Given her rough demeanor and sudden kissing of the witch which seemed to break the curse on the girls, I wonder if she might have been cursed to be gender swapped and she is actually a Prince Charming who loves all witches. Maybe she cheated on a witch with another witch (because he loved all witches) and got cursed to be made into a woman. Or maybe the "Prince" just refers to your internal gender orientation and she identifies as male. That would be a fresher take on it and incorporate more progressive gender sensibilities. The only hole I could see would be I thought they said it had to be mutual love and I don't know why the witches would love her. Seems interesting though.
