I knew this series/studio was having a laugh last episode when Millicent stabbed Vill from behind and the blood she coughed up splattered on top of the omurice like ketchup during a very serious scene, and they continued to play it straight. The super dramatic shonen music + the OP insert during the fight was the icing on top.
