Kinktober 24 - Multiple Feeders/Feedees

Lucy reclined on a sofa in the sitting room, listening to her favorite radio programs while she digested her dinner. Holding back a groan, she probed her belly with her fingers, feeling the tight mass of food inside. A part of her wanted to try and reduce, but ever since she got let out of the kitchen duty rotation, her housemates seemed determined to make sure Lucy got enough to eat.

It was hard for Lucy to complain; the four women who shared the boarding house were all such good cooks. It was their day off from the factory. Ethel woke Lucy up with breakfast in bed; Adelaide made a massive lunch; Gladys cooked enough dinner for ten. Lucy had put on nearly sixty pounds in the past eight months and would be spending nearly all her wages on new clothes—if her housemates didn’t insist on helping her pay for bigger frocks and skirts.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we interrupt this broadcast of Fibber McGee and Molly to bring you a very important news bulletin.

Lucy leaned forward as the voice on the radio changed.

President Eisenhower has officially confirmed reports of extraterrestrial life on our planet. The details are being reported by top scientists throughout the free world and verified by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs.

These aliens arrived in ships, circular in shape and hovering high above our atmosphere. Scientists confirm they arrived approximately eight months ago. Attempts to communicate with these lifeforms are being made, but the President has given assurances that the Secretary of the Air Force has a plan in place—should peaceful negotiations prove impossible.

Who these beings are or what their intentions are on Earth is not clear. What we do know is that they have the capability to abduct humans, replacing their conscious minds with those of their own. Those affected by this process are able to blend in perfectly in their old lives.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has confirmed dozens of cases of altered individuals throughout the US. We’ve also received similar reports from Great Britain, France, Australia, Canada, and Japan. There has been no word from representatives behind the Iron Curtain, but we have every reason to believe this invasion is happening worldwide.

Ladies and gentlemen, I urge you not to lose heart. There is one tell-tale difference in the behavior of those persons who have been infected by these creatures. Every last man and woman located and observed by Director Hoover and his Agents share a similar quirk. A subtle obsession with feeding someone close to them. Wives who once sought only proper nutrition for their husbands are emptying the family coffers to prepare three square meals the size of a Thanksgiving feast.

What the goal of these aliens is, we still do not know. If you believe someone close to you has been affected, please contact your local law enforcement so they can investigate. Above all, you are urged not to alarm the possible victim in any way. In some few cases, affected individuals have become dangerous in their attempts to overfeed their loved ones. Simply comply with their urging until you can safely contact the authorities.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I urge you again not to lose heart. Good night, and good luck.

Lucy did the math and realized her housemates started behaving strangely almost exactly eight months ago. Glancing down at her body, she grimaced. She didn’t need to do the math; her plump arms resting on her bulging belly were evidence enough. All four of her friends had been taken over by these aliens.

Just as she was starting to panic, Lucy caught a whiff of warm apple and blueberry coming from the kitchen. Esther walked into the sitting room carrying a pie in each hand.

“Are you ready for dessert, Lucy? I made these fresh, just for you.”

Lucy took the apple pie in one hand and a fork in the other. Remembering the radio bulletin’s words of caution, she forked a bite straight from the pan without bothering to slice it. As the soft fruit’s juices mingled with brown sugar and cinnamon hit her tongue, she nestled deeper into the couch. She might find time to slip away to a phone tomorrow. Or maybe the next day. Actually, it would be easier on her next day off, a week from now. Lucy took another bite.
