Let me just say this. Damon didn't just go to sleep. He chose to exit Bonnie's life (his supposed best friend) without respecting her enough and telling her to her face. Bonnie has sacrificed her life for everyone in that town (including Damon) multiple times and never had the luxury of deciding to just take a 60 year nap and run away from it all. She has every right to feel hurt and abandoned that he chose to never see her again and didn't say goodbye to her face. Not a letter.. I know everyone likes to make excuses for Damon with everything he does, but all of the crap Bonnie has endured because of everyone else she deserves some grace

Actually the writers were going to kill Bonnie off but Ian Somerhalder (Damon) threatened to leave the show if they went through with it. Which I absolutely love. Bonnie has gone through more shit than anyone in this show and she has every right to express her anger towards Damon. I hate she gets criticized the most even by viewers.
