The producers/writers felt more fans would be pulling for Lila to die than not. The actress lobbied (of course) for keeping her alive LOL! They got a LOT of grief for killing off Doakes! As much as it killed me that they axed Doakes it felt like the logical conclusion I just wish like this storyline would of been season 4 or something. It felt premature.
