Yeah I agree that CeCe is a bit weird to Schmidt.

i think with cece, she went into this thinking it'd just be an all physical thing. schmidt has always been the goofball, the overly-sexual one who has always made passes at her. she's used to being treated like an object, and inavertedly treating others as objects as well. i don't think she has any ill intentions, she just doesn't realize what she's doing - because in her mind schmidt is still just that goof who wants to make a pass at her. he's come off as treating her like an object like all the other guys she's known and been with, so she thinks the playing field is level there and therefore can treat him the same. the problem though is schmidt is not just a goofball, and genuinely likes her. when the show started, it was clear schmidt had some growing to do. that's the schmidt cece was introduced to as well. now, it's cece who has some growing she needs to do as well. i don't think she's trying to be cruel or the mean girl trope in this situation, i think she is genuinely just so used to being used and using others that she doesn't know there can be something more. sidenote: i am so happy you're reacting to this show! i just became a patreon member tonight because i've been loving your reactions on YT so much!!
