Elena didn’t say she won’t come back but definitely with Stefan out there suffering they have to find him right now this is more important than the college thing going on which Elena said Caroline will handle for now. But I get what Grace is saying here the girls bonding time or like investigating stuff together would also be fun. Human Katherine is so entertaining and funny 😆

thing with this show is elena, caroline and bonnie are supposed to be bff since forever but you don't see a lot of that? like obviously there's some moments here and there but mostly focus on caroline being a bad friend in season 1 (bc of katherine), bonnie having a hell of a life bc of elena (and not wanting to talk to her anymore) and elena just focusing on boys when her friends are in danger (when caroline gets kidnaped by the wolf pack or by her father, elena is nowhere to be seen and just focuses on her love triangle with the brothers), caroline not wanting elena to be with damon (i understand that bc of her traumatic relationship with him)... i wish we had more of them being good friends to eachothers
