What did we do to deserve 3 episodes in a day?? yall are amazing!....also this season is a masterpiece, the council fire,the hunters and all other stuff that happens this season is connected from the very first episode...whoever wrote this season and the plot is a GENIUS

This Season is fabulous. Don’t stress out trying to predict or figure out which direction they’re trying to take the episode. I really think you guys will enjoy this Season. Very Complex season

So the reason Stefan keeps saying she can't handle it is called projection. That's what HE did. He couldn't handle it and turned off his emotions immediately after feeding on his Dad. First Elena DID just feed from a human, Matt and NO it is not a given that all vampires will kill someone when they first turn. As long as someone keeps an eye on her while feeding they can prevent her from going too far. There is a very real possibility that Elena could handle this and it's frustrating to watch Stefan talk in absolutes and really doubt Elena's inner strength. You guys said that Elena should just leave Stefan if she feels like she can't trust him or whatever but that's not what this is about. it's that HE doesn't trust HER. You guys also brought up Caroline well look how Stefan trained Caroline. Stefan says to Bonnie that if they don't TRUST that Caroline can control herself then we might as well just stake her right now. He put that faith in Caroline but is not doing it for Elena.

You guys missed the thing I missed when I first watched this episode. Damon wouldn’t let anyone sit beside him at the bar. He was saving Alaric a seat. 😭

I love this episode so much, especially the last scenes where they do the goodbyes with the lights and also Damon on Alaric's grave... Someone mentioned it already but the scene in the bar where Damon tells Liz and also Elena the seat on his left is taken, because Ric used to sit there is breaking my heart, Alaric was the closest person Damon had besides his brother (with whom he is fighting a lot). He lost the person he could talk to... I still can't believe you're already on season 4... so exciting

That Damon speech at the end there always breaks my heart he loved Ric a lot he lost his only friend. When Ric says I miss you too buddy oh mahn I always have to cry hearing that ☹ it just breaks my Delaric heart 💔 Damon was super funny this episode bible salesman, did I wear my I blew up the council T- shirt, Damon Germaphobe oh god he is so hilarious. I have to agree with that Damon is saying here she is a vampire now and she has to learn to control drinking human blood, she will eventually kill- May be most vampires do yes, she is emotional she cares deeply etc. but she is a vampire now and needs to learn how to be one and that’s only possible by trying. I get Stefan’s fear cz of his blood issue (his ripper self) he doesn’t want Elena to go through the guilt but he needs to stop treating her like a baby and probably think she can handle these things. Caroline teaching elena to compel and speak to April was so sweet – Grace your right Caroline looked like a proud teacher/ Friend that was such a sweet moment. The best part for me was Damon not allowing anyone to sit in the bar next to him that was Ric’s seat. He didn’t even let Elena sit there and he said something like I’m just gonna pretend there is someone sitting there cause the alternative is too dam depressing. My heart broke into a million pieces hearing that. He misses his buddy a lot which we can clearly see here he doesn’t show anyone but its killing him ☹ I love this season. Cant wait for more!! Once again have a wonderful honeymoon guys. Lots of love❤❤❤
