Most shocking thing of this episode- out of everyone Matt killed Finn like Wow 😳 Still thinking about it makes me wana laugh so bad 🤣🤣 I like matt but him killing Finn still seems odd. Poor Bonnie though always getting at the bad end of everything give her a little happiness pls :(( The serial killer/ ring plot will still make a lot more sense further on- episodes 20-22 are insane you’re in for a great ride. Next one has a very special moment in it can’t wait for it 😻

The last episodes are really great, I'm sure you will like and understand more and more of the plot as it develops leading to the final outcome. Trust the writers they know what they are doing. 😉

You know guys i kinda feel like in a lot of shows we’re so use to getting new villains every season we think Klaus winning for a season and half is unrealistic or boring. If you truly think about it, a bunch of high school kids and two 150 year old vampires killing a 1000 year old hybrid easily is more unrealistic. Klaus has defeated thousands of enemies since he turned. He has defeated vampires, hunters, werewolves, humans & witches .... please don’t get super annoyed with the show, it’s just not the typical new villain every season type of show & the main characters are not gonna keep wining every time.

Can you guys imagine if the Mom had succeeded in killing the originals when Bonnie & Abby were helping her! !!!! All vampires around the works would have died including our main characters. So Damon turning Abby saved THE WHOLE VAMPIRE RACE!! They owe my boy Damon ❤️

It`s kinda funny to me, how you get annoyed with 'the villains' winning so often, while my best friend always complains over the fact that in movies and shows villains barely win XD They do always go the same route in pressuring people with their loved ones, but I mean why change something that works for them... Here we are slowly tying the different storylines together now. So excited for the last 4 episodes of the season, I love all of them so dearly :)

Haha, nice to see someone else comment the same exact thing I had on my mind. It's far too unrealistic for Klaus, a 1000 year old hybrid, who is not only powerful... but extremely intelligent and strategic, (which is why he is always 1 or more steps ahead of everyone else) to be defeated by, as you said, high school kids and two 150 year vampires. Which, by the way, it's HIM we should be thanking (though, of course, I hate how he had to use Bonnie; wish he had his own witch) for thinking/jumping so fast to unlink his siblings... because without him doing that, all vampires would be dead ;) I don't know, as much as I always root for the main characters, I personally always appreciate a good villain as well :)

Lol remember when you guys were saying how stupid Esther's spell was and how even if she killed all her kids vampires would still exist so this is dumb... Now you understand. She was wiping vampires off the face of the Earth. ALL roads lead here.

PART ONE To understand Season 3 we have to recap Season 2. Klaus breaks the curse. The witch's fail safe for not letting Klaus make a race of hybrids was to break the curse on himself he had to KILL the doppelganger then he wouldn't have her blood to make his hybrids. BUT  Bonnie/John saved Elena's life. SO Klaus had her blood and therefore he could make the hybrids. This was seen as a serious threat to the balance of nature. Time to play connect the dots:  The witch Spirits bring Jeremy back from the dead. Because they decided they could use him. He starts seeing ghosts but Vikki is the one who can 'speak' to Jeremy while Anna can't until later. Vikki also starts to be able to physically interact while Anna can't. This is because the OG witch is helping Vikki. When Matt drowned himself in 3x5 he remembered what Vikki said, despite no one else being able to remember anything that happens on the other side. Vikki lied to Matt at the witches behest because she wanted Klaus to kill Elena so he couldn't make more hybrids.  When that didn't turn out how the OG witch wanted, she went to plan b.  Remember when Bonnie's grimoire randomly turned itself to the page with the spell to reveal the 'veiled matter' with the necklace that wouldn't die. The witch spirits/Ester wanted Bonnie to do the spell so they could have Vikki kill Elena so Klaus couldn't sire hybrids.  ALSO when they could see ghosts we have MASON who somehow knew that cave down there existed despite the fact that he clearly hasn't been there before (as was evident by having to bash a brick wall down and then wander around the tunnels) I think the OG witch was using him just like she was with Vikki. Sort of a plan C. This ended up with Damon finding the cave which not only lead to Michael but also the fact that there was another whilte oak tree grown from the original one that could be weaponized and used against the Originals.  Well we know Michael ended up not being able to kill Klaus and company.  SO Esther was like fuck this shit if you want something done right you have to do it yourself... The priority became  getting Esther out of the coffin. The witch spirits start giving Bonnie dreams to lure her to the old witch house to get Esther out. It is not a coincidence that Alaric's ring suddenly didn't completely work in the same episode where the coffins were all in the witch house. They clearly showed that the witch spirits can mess with the magic in Damon's ring, so I'm sure they can with Alaric's too. (We'll come back to that later)  Bonnie opens the coffin thinking it will help them kill Klaus, as we all know it ends up being the mother.    See how this is all part of one plot/storyline TO BE CONTINUED AFTER 3x20
