The mythology and the lore just keeps expanding in this show...the deepest we ever go to the mythology is approximately 4000 years Ago.......,the mythology and the villains in this show is what makes it better than most supernatural shows for me

There were 7 children of the Originals family, one died in the old world, one in the new world (Henrik), so there are 5 in total left. Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah and other two that Klaus carries around in boxes.

The scene in bed together of Damon and Elena is very sweet, they looked like a married couple talking about their day in bed next to each other. Damon and Stefan is to me the main story and the most compelling one, no matter the fights (brothers do fight and get physical), the regrets, the resentments, they do love each other, deeply, more than anybody, Elena included and they would do everything to protect each other. Elena knows that.

I love this episode, the story of the originals is told so good and I always get goosebumps when Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah stand holding their hands and she says "always and forever". Also the scene with Damon and Elena is so beautiful, how she tells him that it will Stefan's love for Damon which will bring him back (aw)

This episode was so good I loved the backstory of the original family and how they really became vampires

Yes this is a different kind of episode lots of information and stories. It’s so interesting to me to hear their backstory with the music it’s insane when Rebekah says the feeling was euphoric etc and with that the predatory species was born just Chills. The lore and mythology is really good. Can’t help but feel bad for Klaus as well it wasn’t his fault his mother had an affair it wasn’t his fault he was born. Being treated like this from a young age is very traumatic. And then his mother put this curse on him turned her back on him why wouldn’t he want to kill her. I’m not saying his right but I can see why he did what he did. Coming to Stefan and Damon I love them so much their bond their relationship is what makes the show for me. They didn’t actually fight at the end there it was just brotherly love Stefan tells Damon his humanity is showing so Damon kicks his younger brother down that was sweet 😄 The best part of this whole episode for me was the last scene what Elena said was so dam beautiful she told about Rebekah first that she lost her family young and that she loves blindly and recklessly even if it consumes her and the camera pans at Damon and if we go to see Damon is kind of The same he loves blindly and recklessly even if it consumes him. Just noticed this today after maybe watching this scene over and over again from ages lol. She also tells Damon that u will be the one who will save Stefan and it’s not because he loves me but cz he loves you 🥺 that right there is one of my favourite Elena lines. Okay il stop my rant now haha. Next episode is funn you guys will enjoy it.

Elijah said Klaus had a different father back in season 2. Mikael is his step father but the rest of their biological father. He abused Klaus

I think at the time the made those carvings in the cave even before they became vampires. And Rebekah is only out of her coffin for a short time so I think Klaus must have told her that he is desdicated there. Yeah Mikael is the father of 6 out of the 7 originals. The oldest one died in the old world, the one that died in the new work, Elijah, Rebekah and the two that we don't know. Klaus has a different father otherwise all would have had the wolf gene and would be hybrids. BexFangirl and I were talking about it the other day on how good you guys are in "foreseeing" stuff thats going to happen.
