If you take a poll about the best vampire diaries season,most people would pick season 3 and rightfully so.....its personally my 3RD favorite season but I can totally understand why this season is so praised.....it also probably has the best finale in tvd other than season 8 tbh....and the 1st 9 episodes are lit af

Regarding your hybrid question, the reason klaus wanted to become a hybrid was so that he could make more hybrids....elijah even saud in season 2 and klaus would sire his own race......Also hybrids don't get affected by the sun as klaus said(they don't need a daylight ring),and also don't have to turn on a full moon...so they basically have the advantages of both vampires and warewolfs...and no disadvantage at all...so they are pretty op lol

Elena and Damon situation. There is an actraction between them, it is shown in many little scenes, like the dance in season 1 or the road trip where Elena completelly let herself go and be happy lighter, and trusting around him, or the Elena's birthday where they appear together in front of everyboy like a coupple on a date, and she drunk from his glass, lots of moments that are petty clear that there is something between those two and Elena is in denial about it, because she still loves Stefan and cannot possibly admit she start to have feeling for somebody else. That scene at the end is Damon trying to make Elena to admit that between them there is something.

Good to see u guys after a while (a short while 😆) missed u guys 🙂Victor regarding your question about Katherine entering the house that’s a good point u brought up. The thing is Elena died in the ritual so the Salvatore house is no longer in her name once u die the deed to the house goes away yes she came back but that doesn’t count and she did die so no the makers didn’t miss out on that just wanted to clear that. And yes Caroline’s dad is gay Victor said absolutely right she did say this in season 1 that he is atleast successfully dating a guy. Insane episodes ahead can’t wait 😍

About Katherine entering the house in the season 2 finale: Elena technically died so the deed isn't working anymore... the house is practically ownerless again, like it was before I'd say. And yes Carolines father is gay, it was mentioned in side sentences a couple of times, but it can easily be missed.

Grace is more correct. My interpretation is that Damon IS kinda saying pick me. But it's so important to pay attention to the scene as a whole. Damon comes to tell her Stefan can be saved and that he will help her. He DIDN'T have to do that. He could have allowed Elena to keep on believing Stefan was gone and 'moved in' on her while Stefan was away. Instead he tells Elena Stefan can be saved. Then when he says. "when I drag my brother from the edge and deliver him back to you, I want you to remember the things you felt while he was gone" Is again important to listen to all that actually means. He of course loves her but IF she were to have feelings for him they wouldn't mean much until Stefan is there and back to normal again. He doesn't want to win by default. He wants all things to be equal and have her choose him.

Caroline’s dad is gay, which makes this whole thing even more messed up because there’s parallels with homophobia because she can’t change who she is like he can’t, it’s like the ultimate hypocrisy.

Caroline's dad is gay! And I took Damon's conversation with Elena to be similar to the one they had in the season 2 premiere: she's wearing the same color top, they are in her bedroom, the 'are you drunk' question...when Damon originally tries to say there's something going on between them and Elena denies it. He went about proving she was lying to him and herself wrong but here he's not. He's not drunk, he's not angry, he's not pushing her but essentially Damon says he knows she'll get back together with Stefan once they get him back. That he will even help her but he doesn't want her to lie about what she's feeling, how she feels about him, even if it's not the same as her feelings for Stefan. Once she admits the truth, he's happy to leave it at that. He just wants acknowledgment it won't go back to Elena burying her head in the sand because they've changed and things have changed. I don't think he expects her to have a change of heart or pick him. I also really like the show cleverly points out what the audience/fans expect: in the premiere through Caroline/Tyler they address 'maybe Damon's just helping her with Stefan to get Elena' or 'she kissed him, so she'll switch from Stefan to Damon in a fickle manner' and this episode is 'well, Stefan's gone and that door is shut...so will she end up with Damon by default?' and each time it's shut down. Because Elena isn't Katherine and doesn't want to or like toying with them, and Damon cares about Stefan. I like how complicated the relationship between the three of them are.
