I appreciate a lot that you gave us 3 episodes to say sorry for 21. I like this episode as the opener of the season. The 'drop in the ocean' scene always breaks my heart, how Damon destroys Stefan's room and then Stefan's look when Elena talks to him on the phone. Also the scene kinda shows us a completly different version of Stefan than what the most of the rest of this episode shows us. When you were talking about the Alaric being there where his students are drinking I was thinking of my classtrip in 12th grade, where our teacher went to a bar and drank beer with with most of our group, but it's legal here to drink beer from age 16 so it's a different situation, but still that's kinda funny to me though. I don't like Damon's hair like this either, I like it short better as well.

Yeah we had this too one teacher went to a bar with us and on Karneval sometimes some studens came in drunk or had alcohol with them (even harder stuff) and I'm 100% sure they noticed it but it was Karneval and they said nothing. But I think the whole alcohol topic here is much more chill and we grow up in a was that it doenst really "bother" us and to be honest I never notice underage drinking in shows because most of the Times they have the leagal (Beer) drinking age in my eyes. It is even allowed her to drink beer at the age of 14 If your parents are with you

Stefan is clearly not enjoying doing this. Just as Klaus told him at the bar it’s almost as if like your enjoying it but u still care about family. And u could see the look on Stefan’s face he looked so broken and sad. klaus said the more u feed more blood it’s easier to let go and immediately he goes out and calls Elena cz he wanted to wish her and Elena righty guessed it’s Stefan. Stefan’s crying face At the end there just breaks my heart. But I must also say it’s fun to watch Stefan this way something very different from what they always show him as. Damon was so hurt telling Elena those things could see it in his eyes he wants his brother back and he is trying his best tracking him etc but him killing Andy broke him he did care for her. Poor Andy though. Caroline picking that guy up was sooo funny 🤣🤣 And once again Caroline is attacked poor girl doesn’t get a break :( This was a perfect season opener ul have reached S3 my second most favourite TVD season super excited. Thanks again for these 3 reactions. Love u guys ☺️

Time for another breakdown. STEFAN has his emotions on. He is NOT compelled. Just compliant. He is killing people, and his guilt is compounded by the fact that no matter how much he hates it, a part of him LIKES it. BLOOD LUST vs HUMANITY SWITCH: The distinction is important between Stefan's blood lust and humanity switch. Damon had been looking for Stefan all summer. Damon knew he was high on blood and such but he never told Elena Stefan couldn't be saved at that point. Cause they can detox Stefan from the human blood, they've done it before. However flipping his humanity switch is how he became the Ripper of Monterey and it took him THIRTY years even with Lexi's help to turn his humanity back on. DAMON was hiding the information from Elena, not to be a dick, but to protect his brother's 'image'. He didn't want Elena to know what Stefan was doing because he knew she'd be horrified and possibly think differently about Stefan. I mean seriously imagine Elena following that Tennessee lead to the ripped apart bodies pieced back together by Stefan. Even so Damon still thinks Stefan can be saved. When Stefan kills Andy, Damon believes Stefan has turned it all off and there is NO Lexi to bring him back this time. He believes Stefan is gone. ALARIC I love him so much. LOVE HIM. Victor it's not creepy! Alaric was married to Elena's mother. Had she stayed in her life Alaric would have been her step dad. No matter their age my God the stuff Elena and Jeremy have been through, they need Alaric and I love their make-shift family more than I can say. KLAUS Is in search of werewolves to make into hybrids and is enjoying having Stefan play Robin to his Batman. Just some random thoughts: Lol you have to get over all the underage drinking and legal guardian real world stuff. It will keep happening. It’s a tv show. Let it go and watch the story. I must say though that looked like every large party I went to in high school.. alcohol, pot, dancing… yep. Also, I know the humans are useless and should probably just go hide in a bunker somewhere but again, this is a tv show. They can’t just have humans curling up in the fetal position every time their is some danger.

I was so sad to see Andy die 😢. At the beginning I know Daimon was using her but in time you knew he grew to like her. He can’t have the girl he loves, he lost his brother and the girl her cared about !!!! I feel horrible for Stefan & Elena but I love Damon gave her the necklace that represents Stefans love. It’s like he was giving her hope ❤️

So Klaus can't compel werewolfs, supernatural people can't be compelled except vampire from original vampires and werewolfs before they trigger the curse. And the bite of a werewolf is fatal to vampire meaning the bite of a werewolf in transition or fully turned so only on a full moon when the transition starts other that that Tyler could bite Caroline all he wants it would do nothing. Exception is Klaus, he is a hybrid and can turn at will so his bite would always be dangerous to vampires.

Stefan's humanity isn't off-the show tends to make it very clear so you know when that happens! I think you're right and he's feeding into what Klaus is saying and his old blood addiction, but he still visibly cares about Elena and his brother even though I'm sure he's unraveling slowly but surely. I think when Stefan says he's doing what Klaus said/he has to it's a way to escape these are his own actions (even if he's motivated by protecting Damon and Elena) and put the blame on someone else, much like he did in season 1 when he fell off the wagon and also he's sarcastically reminding Klaus this was their deal and it's nothing more between them since Klaus clearly wants a friend/brother-in-arms.
