I don't think damon loves elena,he is obsessed with elena, if he actually loved her he wouldn't put her into the terrible fate of being a vampire, on the other hand,being obsessed means you would do anything to have a person around,even if its against there own interest......but at the end of the day I do think that what damon did was to a certain degree right and justified

I think he loves her and if you feel that way then you think Stefan doesn't love his brother because he did the same thing.

Oh man lovely reaction guys. I’m so excited for u guys to watch the last 2 episodes for the season. I’m super pumped I cannot wait. Grace I’m sooo happy your really understanding Damon’s character really well. And yes the same was with me too at the start of this season and season 1 mainly I didn’t like him but it’s a slow process with liking Damon his character slowly warms up on us the journey is beautiful. Damon telling Katherine imagine u have to compete with Elena for Stefan’s love forever was just so hilarious 😂 Your totally right in saying that Damon loves Elena and u definitely will do whatever it takes to keep that person alive it doesn’t matter to him even if she comes back as a vampire or even hates him forever but that doesn’t mean Stefan loves Elena any lesser he respects her choices and loves her alott. Pls post the last 2 episodes soon if ul can 🙈 I can’t wait these finale episodes for S2 are sooo good 😍

The point about Damon is that once you get to know his motivations and you get to know him better and deeper, you realise that he hasn't a malicious bone in his body, everything he does is for love and he feels pain very intensely. So he does dumb things out of impulse or desperation to regret them a minute after. Feeding Elena with his blood wasn't right, but in his position I don't know what I would have done. The thing with Stefan and Elena is that she lives in the present with him, and if she has to think about the future, he is not in the picture, she doesn't love him enough to think that an eternity with him is worth to lose the chance to have a family. She doesn’t love him that much. Also the problem I have with Stefan is his staggering response to Elena’s statement “then I will be dead” and Stefan just shoulder shrug. 🤷‍♂️ To me everybody that says that Stefan respects Elena’s choices and feelings has never really been in love. That to me is not respect is co-dependency, which is a psychological issue that makes you agree with everything your partner says or does. It is not healthy never to argue with your partner, first because you have to have self respect of yourself and what you believe is best, second because your objections come from a selfless place of love. That to me the main difference between Stefan and Damon, Stefan’s love is mostly about himself the fear of what Elena or others might think of him, Damon’s love is only about Elena’s well being.

I little reminder that if it wasn't for Damon practically most of the charcters of the show would be dead. Stefan by Logan Fell or the tumb vampires, Bonnie, Caroline, Tyler and Katherine by Klaus.....and not to mention future spoilers.

Stefan clearly cares about Choices rectifying his past mistakes of what can happen when you remove someone ability to make their own choice e.g. Stefan feeding Damon human blood also Damon intensly bypassing what happen to him is so interesting to me Stefan did say to her that he didn't want her to know that he wanted to live with her forever but knew that if it was an option she was take it ultimately not her decision fully, wanting her to make this decision by herself thus having her own choice without other factor heavily impacting her choice

Elijah is older but as we learned Klaus is the Hybrid and can't be daggered -> taken out by anyone (except of a witch) and yeah he get's angry if he doesnt get what he wants (killing all of Katherines relatives) . And they are (half) brothers, they are family and when Katherine first showed off he was doing everything to help his brother break the curse
