he was in Alaric's body and that's why because Alaric's was already invited in

You reached the crutial episode....and you meet Klaus. The Martins had to die in order for Bonnie to take center stage. Also the Martins are Elija team, and they had their own agenda, plus papa Martin took the powers off Bonnie, so not to be trusted. Bonnie is for sure on Elena team, she can be trusted for sure. Damon Andie scene is though to watch, but Andie was compelled to love Damon so it is understandable how the whole situation sounded inappropriate to Damon not believeble and more harsh because in his mind, specially after what Stefan said to him, he feels to have someone caring about him he had to compel someone, also Andie was in undewear ready for sexy, and he is very sensitive on the subject of been use only for sex. So his pain and frustration lead to the assult but he didn't wanted to kill her, he wanted protect her from himself. Sad very sad.

Just clarifying a few things:- 1) witches cant be compelled 2) the reason they faked the curse was so that they themselves wouldn't have to find the warewolfs, vampire and the doppelgangers,...and people would just do it for them 3) the reason elijah didn't tell elena everything was probably because he didn't want to tell her everything lol,he wanted the wolves and vampires to think that the curse would set them free, and also I think he didn't trust elena at first 4) when klaus is in alaric's body he has all his mental powers(compulsion),but not his vampire strength

Aaaaaaah I was so excited for this ! This is one of my favourite episodes of TVD, you finally met Klaus ! And yeah Nina Dobrev is from Bulgaria. I think this is quite cool, that they took her heritage for the character :) Victor is right, you can't compel witches so Greta (Martin) isn't eighter. Even with originals can compel vampire but they can't compel witches no one can. The same with werewolfes after they triggered the curse. Katherine is a master in manipulation even if she can't compel the people, she acts like she cares and knows how to get people on her side

One of the best episodes of the season for sure. it’s interesting how both the Pair of brothers used to like the same girl. Katherine is definitely special 😁 She seemed so innocent as a human being loved her interactions with Elijah. I don’t think Damon is wrong in not trusting Elijah why should they trust him and Klaus is his brother after all. Also I feel Andy does somewhat like him remember she was the one who had approached him first at the mystic grill. Her feelings for him seemed real and the look in his eyes was really sad and full of guilt he was ashamed of himself for hurting her. So excited ul have Finally met Klaus!! 😍 The last 3 episodes of season 2 yehh super excited!! It’s gonna get crazyy.

Lol everytime you say something makes no sense and list a reason why, you are just forgetting or didn’t notice something that was already written into the story. Things are only contrived if you have no faith in the writing of the show, so what I will say is HAVE FAITH. The level of thought and preparation that went into this season’s plot and lore is next level. If you see something that feels contrived or inconsistent I’m going to go out on a limb and say 99% of the time it is completely consistent you just don’t have all the information yet or didn't see it when it was given. If you see something that doesn’t make sense… it will.

OY sorry if there is a random missing comment I have no idea what I just did but I think it deleted so I will start again: Lore and Mythology reveals this episode: First, SORRY for my explanations about the Sun and Moon Curse earlier I was ONLY giving you what we'd been told lol I had to word my comments like Elijah's deals. ~The Originals were a human family of 7 siblings and their parents. ~The Sun and Moon curse is fake and does nothing for vampires and werewolves. and was planted by Klaus in order to use others to find all the elements he needed to break the curse. ~ The real curse bound Klaus's werewolf side so breaking it allows Klaus to become a vampire/werewolf hybrid. ~ On top of needing the moon stone, a vampire, a werewolf, a Bennet witch and a doppelganger the sacrifice ritual has to be done in the birthplace of the doppelganger which explains why Klaus is staying there but more to the point how/why he knew where Katherine's family was to slaughter them after she fled.

Libby

Yeah I just can't even watch that part of the episode. I like Andy and I just can't. That almost made me hate Damon forever so I prefer to bury my head in the sand.

Libby

I forgot, no Klaus didn't love Katherine. At all. He just wanted to use her to kill her.

When I watched it for the first time I also on the one hand thought Elena was kinda stupid doing this (so I feel Damon`s and at the beginning also Stefan`s mistrust), even though I loved Elijah so I was happy about that at the same time. Elena did help daggering Elijah and even did it herself, but it wasn`t really her plan to begin with, so I kinda lines up with what she was doing before. At the end of this episode everything looks fine, so I changed my mind regarding what Elena did. About that they should have just sat down to talk, isn't that often the case, even in real life, that you could have come up with a proper solution if you would've talked to one another...? I love this episode, it explains so much, still it's a kinda calm episode and we get to see Elijah again + it's the first time we see the real Klaus. I always thought that Klaus had his compulsion power, but didn't need an invitation was because his MIND was in Alaric's BODY, so he would still have all his mindpowers but all physical restrictions would work like they would for Alaric.

BexFangirl

I always feel so bad, when people get confused over the sun and the moon curse earlier in the season and try to understand it, just to learn that it wasn't even the real curse... but that makes the reactions to this episode even better XD

Pennywell_Production

We’re sorry if we forget stuff sometimes. Lol we are reacting to 11 other shows so sometimes we may be confused 😫

I can’t wait for the episode to drop today
