The next episode is probably the best episode from the season!! Can't wait&lt;3.....and I just want to say,the way Alaric plays klaus is a total mis representation of how klaus actually is...I don't know how the directors and writers fucked it up, but klaus is nothing like this lol

I’m glad you starting to change your mind about Damon. “I will always choose you” is the statement of the century, it is not because he will let Bonnie die, it should be pretty clear by now that he cares, the conversation at the dance between Damon and Bonnie it clear that up, that statement is more a total devotion statement, he would do whatever it takes to keep her alive even if that would get her to hate him. You can say anything to Damon but everything he does even when he does bad things, are always for love. He search for a way to get Katherine out of the tomb for 145 years, if that isn’t commitment to love I don’t know what it is. Same thing with Elena, when he loves someone he is seriously loyal and devoted.

I rarely see a discussion about what was heightened in Damon when he turned into a vampire. I believe it was love and devotion which is why it sometimes feels a bit like obsession with him. Edit: A LOT like obsession lol .

A lot of people were very unhappy with Damon saying "I will always choose you" I think if most took the time to think about it they'd figure out how hypocritical they actually are. I think that it's a completely valid thing for him to think. It's obvious he doesn't WANT Bonnie to die. How many of us would let someone we're in love with die just to save their friend who we barely know? Maybe it's not something all of us would come out and SAY but... this is Damon. Elena didn't want him to lie to her, well he didn't. Now Elena didn't like what he said so she decided to try to find another way and woke up Elijah which I admit my reaction was MUCH different from Grace and Victor's. Lol there was champagne involved... okay not really lol but I was THRILLED, like downright fangirl giddy, they were bringing Elijah back.

Wow lovely points here all of you guys totally agree with the Damon situation. I’m glad you (Grace) you’re slowly warming up to Damon’s character. Love this episode. The way Damon dances with those 2 girls oh my he’s so funny 🤣 I could also see amazing chemistry between Damon and Bonnie their dance was so cute. Bonnie telling Damon careful I might think you actually care was so beautiful I can see her slowly getting comfortable around Damon. Episode 19 is epic can’t wait 😍
