They left the moon stone with her because that other witch had spelled it to do what it did to weaken Katherine so that gave them time to get her into the tomb. I assume she would have woken up sooner if she wasn't holding the moonstone.

TVD has just begun 😍 What an amazing episode!! Loved you’re reactions when Elijah cuts his head off ul were so shocked stunned and were entertained by it I couldn’t stop laughing. Poor guy though 😅 I absolutely love it when the brothers team up they can be really badass. That last scene though teared me up. Such a beautifully shot scene. That was really selfless of Damon. Next episode is again one of my favs can’t wait for it!!

TVD is definitely portrayed as a teenage, girly show that’s cheesy and superficial and those first few episodes absolutely are, but it becomes such a good show as it progresses. My brother even watched the entire series and both spin offs and he’s a 15 year old jock 😂 It really is a show for everyone and anyone! So glad you’re enjoying it!
