Hey guys loved your reaction to the Pilot. This series is not based on a comic book infact after the first season I guess a novel/ comic book series of the name stranger things was out with insane art but the show is inspired by a few 80s movies like ET, Stand by me, Firestarter etc or u can say it’s the directors love letter to these 80s movies. The soundtrack of this series is amazing and very 80s like. If you guys like any of these movies like ET or science based stuff ul will love the show. The characters In the show are super famous right now cz of the series and yes as Grace said with the reviews, memes etc for the show it’s a very popular Netflix show. I’m sure u guys will enjoy the show more as more episodes go by. It really picks up from episode 3/4. Can’t wait for the next one.
