Here's a preview of a new scene coming in the next release. I've shown off this look for Emi before, I'm pretty sure, but now I've got a scene designed to use it in (I think) an interesting way.

Oh, and on the right is a new minor character who is only going to have a small appearance here - Charaya. If things go as planned at the moment she'll probably return as a minor character in one or two other spots in the game, too.

Content in the August update

This next update is actually already finished and uploaded, so I can speak with confidence about what's going to be in it:

• There's a new item - the purple lingerie for Emi that will also unlock this new scene. The scene itself is the main content addition for this month, of course.
• There's several new phone messages from Hirai (actually Kumi, from Hirai's phone) about Emi and the purple lingerie; these can be found in the shops district.
• The shops district is more or less finished, with night/day screens for all the locations and shops in place for Essex Street and the Cakehole. I do plan to add some more items to some of the shops over time, but this might be all that's needed in the way of actual shops. All the zones will have hot spots you can examine, and there's a couple of Easter eggs in there too.
• The Cakehole now allows you to buy stat upgrade items for Shuji. (Different types of coffee.)
