Weekly preview - Nobuko plays with toys (Patreon)

tl;dr - I'm working on a big Nobuko toys scene, probably for next month, and trying to finish it quickly to get ahead of schedule; I also haven't got COVID yet, but I still might, so that's another good reason to get ahead of schedule.

I think the most likely next release will be for a new Nobuko toys scene, for which this is one of the interactive screens. I've written most of it (still some work to do) and programmed most of it too, so I think it will be easy enough to get done.

I got this pose from a scene in an upcoming Nobuko/Iku comic for $12 patrons and I just thought it was good enough that I should use it in the main game, too. In the Nobuko/Iku scene, she's lying on her side at the beach, so there's slight differences and I think the beach scene is still worth seeing, when I get to it. ;)

Obviously this pose isn't where the toys get used - I'll be showing that off in a future week.

Nobuko toys scene

Here Nobuko is showing off some of her own personal collection of toys. She's mentioned this collection before, so I'm trying to keep this consistent with the previous references.

The scene was really just planned to be a kind of quick thing that would allow you to use the toys you can buy from the shop on Nobuko, but since that "collection" of hers was already canon I thought I could throw in some of her own as well, with this nice pose. 

That means the scene should have quite a lot going on in it even despite the fact that you can't even buy all the toys yet. But also, like the Emi toys scene, new parts will unlock as I unlock the new toys as possible inventory items. 

I've just kept those other toys locked so far (the violator, the double pleasurer and the plug) because there's not enough content available for them to justify it just yet, but I might unlock one of them for the new release... probably the violator.

Trying to get ahead of schedule

I want to get the Nobuko toys scene finished pretty quickly to move my schedule along. I'm kind of moving at a rapid pace at the moment in an attempt to get back to a point where I'm more than a full release ahead of schedule again, as that takes a lot of the pressure off me and I feel comfortable exploring more interesting ideas again.

It's also good to feel like I have the free time to work on stuff for the future, like potentially developing scenes for Rin (girl #5), which is something I'd like to work on but I haven't really started yet, apart from a few test renders and outlining some ideas.

Surprised I don't have COVID (yet)

I got heavy COVID exposure recently and was sure, considering everything, that I would be likely to come down with it. That would be a big problem at any time, really, but I've been trying to get ahead of schedule also just because I knew I'd lose some time if I got sick again.

Anyway, somehow I haven't come down with it yet. I still could, but I'm hoping that I've somehow escaped it this time.
