Update - Emi and Shizu on the balcony, with pictures (Patreon)

tl;dr - Two new scenes are coming in the next update; an Emi/Shizu scene (above) and a Nobuko scene.

This is from a scene coming in the new release; while it doesn't involve Hirai, it will only unlock if that relationship has advanced with these girls, for reasons you might be able to guess from the picture on the camera.

It's a new "cruel Emi" scene and I think it's a pretty strong one, developing also from the Emi/Shizu threesome, so it's buried relatively deep in the game, requiring multiple relationship paths at once. 

Harder to find scenes

The other new interactive scene for next month, which I'll show in next week's update, involves Nobuko in the laundry room. That's not all that hard to find, really, but it is a little bit harder than some because it requires you to have unlocked Nobuko's sex scene before day 10.

I normally try to be careful not to bury too much content into hard-to-access locations because players are less likely to see it and this, I think, was a bit of a problem for PAL. A lot of the later updates were for scenes that are found late in the game and were only accessible to dedicated players and I think that contributed to the drop-off in interest on the Patreon (there were other factors, too, most likely).

At the same time, I like putting that kind of thing in, requiring a bit of exploration to discover everything, so I do like that I can now start to at least slightly bury stuff into the game's nooks and crannies. Having scenes that are available theoretically pretty early but require you to have a couple of relationships advanced and then go to an area of the Shops district will be another approach I'm going to explore for that kind of thing.

Busy and exhausted

Launching and promoting Lord Goblin v0.2 has been a bit of an exhausting experience this week, but I'm still working on PAT as well. I don't expect LG to be nearly as much of a drama most of the time, but this is a busy patch when the game's brand new and everything.

What I'm currently hoping is to get back ahead of schedule for PAT, which is going fairly well at the moment, and I'm also trying to make some progress on some of those big new features I talked about a few weeks ago. I'll talk about that a little more next week!
