Update - Nobuko/Shizu animation (Patreon)

tl;dr - I made this for a new animated scene to make the next monthly release a bit more substantial.

Yes, an animation! I'll explain why I made this below, but the reason I animated this was that I tried the still pose and just thought it would be a good one for animation. I've made some similar animated poses to this before (most notably from the Emi/Nobuko threesome sex scene) so I figured it would work and I wanted to try making Nobuko's boobs bounce like that.

Animation isn't exactly my forte and I'm sure a dedicated animator building something to be rendered with a large number of frames would go for something much more ambitious, but by keeping the movements down to a mere 30 frames I can prevent the project from getting too time consuming to produce. Plus, Daz Studio isn't really a great animation toolset; I know, I know, don't blame the tools, but if I really wanted to animate seriously I'd be better off pivoting to Blender or something like that, and as a one-man development team, that's not really practical for me. I still need to write, program, direct the voice acting, test and publish the scenes, too!

So anyway, what is this scene?

You might recall last week I mentioned that I wasn't totally happy with the length of the update this month. It wasn't tiny, but I like to frequently have big content drops, even if not every month can meet that expectation. (And not every month will - some will be minor updates.)

As I don't have a really huge update coming up soon, though, I decided this one should get some extra love. I could have added one of the scenes I have in mid-production for upcoming months; I have quite a few of those and I think they're quite good, but I also don't want to pinch those from the future schedule. 

I like to keep monthly updates somewhat themed, so I figured the most logical thing for me was to make something more for the Nobuko/Shizu pairing, since last month I did a couple of Emi/Shizu scenes. This new one, therefore, is a modest-sized scene (but animated, of course!) that can operate as a kind of companion scene to the other one. By keeping it smallish I was able to wrap up the scene quickly and get it into the new release.

Migrating to the new VN Maker build

I'll (probably) talk about this more in the future, but since I've migrated to the new version of VN Maker, I am also working on making sure the game is handling the transition without producing new bugs. I think the technical improvements will be nice to have from the migration, though!
