tl;dr - This is the second interactive scene for the next release; and I'll be migrating to a new version of VN Maker, which will hopefully greatly improve the game's technical performance.

This week's images

The first of these images is the central pose of the other main scene that's coming in the July release. While the first involved Shizu watching you have sex with Emi, the idea of this one is that Emi now is the one who has to watch. Of course, she's decided to get herself involved, too...

So this is the second interactive scene in the next release; it's a little smaller than the other one I showed, but I think between the two of them there's a good amount of content in the release. (And I did just put out a huge release last month!)

Migrating to a new version of VN Maker

There's been a huge new update to VN Maker, the engine I use for building PAT. It involves completely removing NW.js from the code and replacing it, and since NW.js has been the source of many of the core technical issues the game has experienced, this might be a big help.

In particular memory issues and the terrible loading screen crash problem is (as best as I can tell) from NW.js, so even though I've largely managed to implement workarounds to fix the latter problem, this change should hopefully mean the game runs even better and eliminates the crashes once and for all.

Of course, I can't guarantee it will - this is a little bit beyond my control. All I can do is migrate to the new version and hope for the best. The engine code is written and maintained by other people. That said, I'm thrilled that they actually updated it! I thought it was more or less abandoned at this point.

Migrating is quite a bit of work for me, as I need to do a lot of testing and I will likely need to re-implement some custom scripts to get the game behaving as it should again, so this will be the next thing I'm working on for a little while.

Do you like the look of this second Emi/Shizu interactive scene coming up? And does the technical update matter to you? Let me know in the comments below!
