Update - Emi's face (Patreon)

tl;dr - I'm working on the Emi/Shizu threesome dates for this month!

This week's image

It's actually been a while since I've made a facial image like this. Back in the early days of PAL I had a pretty simple method of painting the jizz on, which worked well for the style of rendering I was doing at the time and matched the images fairly successfully. As my style's developed, however, the detail of the images and different rendering method has made the simple painted method not look so good. (As well as being rather more work than I feel it's worth.)

For this image I used some special props on her face, which then need to be simulated like liquid; it's a tricky process to get right, but I found it fairly easy this time, which was refreshing. I'm encouraged to do it more often, since this seems to have worked out well.

I do, however, find the props don't really give the desired effect, so I have to then go into Photoshop and give them a paint-over, just to develop the kind of look I want out of them. This is a lot less work than painting it from scratch, however, and I think the results are better, too.

The release plan at the moment

After being somewhat uncertain what to release this month, I landed on making the Emi/Shizu threesome dates.

I'm trying to get back to an early-in-the-month release time, which means I have to shorten the development cycle on the next couple of updates to around three weeks each, but that's okay. Having those early releases gives me a little more wiggle room when I occasionally need more time and have to push the release back to get it finished.

Because doing a day date, a night date and a sex scene like I did for last month is actually more work than I can really fit into a month (a fair chunk of that stuff was made up of content I'd developed in advance), this month I won't be able to do the whole Emi/Shizu story in one go. I'll be putting out the day date and night date without voice acting, but the full sex scene and VA will turn up next month. These smaller releases will also help with scheduling, like I said.

There will be a bit of fun to be had, though, as the image above is from the day date. ;)
