Update - Shizu bent over (close up) (Patreon)

tl;dr - I'm looking for suggestions for scenes to contain close ups like above; there's good news on fixing the loading bug but I haven't found anyone to test the solution; I've made a lot of progress on scenes for a release down the line; and I've made a new lingerie set for Nobuko!

This week's image

You might have already seen the scene where Shizu goes dumpster diving and even if you haven't, you might remember an image of this scene with her further away. For this shot, though, I just felt there was no particularly good reason not to add another close up angle to get a really good look at Shizu's questionable behaviour. ;)

And I've been thinking that I should probably add some more close ups to some other scenes in the game, but I haven't quite decided what the best choices might be. Got any suggestions? I'd love to hear them - which scenes do you think would benefit from a few more close up shots of the ladies? I may well add them, as that can be an easy thing to do, sometimes!

Bug hunting

Okay, this week's bug hunting update comes with some good news! 2095Conash and I think we've tracked down the problem and found a likely solution for the infinite  "NOW LOADING" bug. As I've talked about previously we think it relates to the way the engine decodes audio, and it's been freaking out at having to load the entire playlist of tracks for the apartment.

Conash devised a way to get the game to only decode the one track it wants to play at the time, although we had to do a pretty rough and ready job of it so this can't really be used to make everything load up just when it's needed, but it's still much more efficient this way. There's a second step that may or may not be necessary after that if this doesn't prove to be enough to fix it, but it makes things a bit more complicated so we'd prefer it if this just solves the problem.

BUT unfortunately I just haven't been able to find anyone getting the bug who's willing to test it yet, so I have no idea if this is working. I'm still looking for someone who's getting the bug and is willing to just take a few minutes to try it, but it's just remarkably hard. Nobody responds to me when I ask, except some nice people who are willing to help but aren't actually getting the bug, and therefore can't actually provide me with relevant data.

I'll keep plugging away looking for testers, but again, if you are getting this apartment loading screen bug please volunteer! I won't take much of your time.

Future scenes

I've done quite a bit of good work this week for scenes that won't be coming up in the next update, but will eventually appear a little way down the line. I've written and illustrated scenes of sex in the apartment each for Emi and Nobuko, and the Emi one already has voice acting, too. (I'm hoping to get some at some point soon for Nobuko's scene.)

These will come up soon enough, but I have to say it's just really nice that I've got these done for a later update because that will save me so much time in an upcoming month! It'll be really useful for my scheduling that I'm at last kind of ahead on some planned future content. I think they're both really nice scenes, too, so I'll show you some of them in upcoming updates.

Nobuko lingerie

Over on Discord I tested out some new lingerie ideas for Nobuko and this was the outfit that proved most popular. It's frankly hard to get clothes to fit right over Nobuko's boobs, so I've had a difficult time really settling on a definitive lingerie set for her. What do you think of it?
