Update - Emi ravished (Patreon)

tl;dr - I've had a rough week from smoke haze and migraines, but I've started work on the Hirai content.

This week's images

I thought I'd give you three variations of one picture this week. These have been enlarged with my AI software which sharpens some of the details a little bit too much, so some of the fine detail looks a little odder than it does in the game version, but it's still good enough to show, I think.

In the first image, this is an example of the interesting come-shot props that I've recently acquired to aid in making these sorts of images. I've used these only once before so far, on the close up facial shot of Nobuko in her bath scene. They can be quite useful, even if they're a bit of a trick to get working right sometimes.

Previously I've always painted on the jizz, which is fine in some scenes but weaker in others. These props still require some additional Photoshop painting over the top to make them clear and thick-looking, but it's a bit of a time saver nonetheless, and it also helps me get those little spots of wet reflectivity right, which I always struggled with when trying to paint them.

The object on Emi's hip in the second image is a used condom, if that isn't clear, and the semen in that one is all painted. 

It's also painted in the third one; the AI Gigapixel enhacement sort of outlines things in a slightly odd way there in the third one, but not in the original.

Hirai content

I decided this week to do a little bit of work on the Hirai scenes. I haven't acted on these for a number of reasons so far, but I feel like I'm in a good enough position to be doing some of the ground work for them. One of the key things holding me back has been the need to actually understand, from a writing perspective, how the character relationships should work and where I want to take everything, and while I still don't feel I have everything worked out, I do feel I've got a bit of a start on it. I might be able to at least introduce the character in the next release.

Hirai will probably have some similarities to PAL's Hiroshi, but he's also a little different. I'm still deciding how, precisely, but you can probably expect him to make Shuji some unscrupulous 'offers'...

Smoke haze and migraines

I've had a little bit of a rough week overall thanks to my whole region being blanketed in smoke from bush fires that has at times made the normally clear air around here (literally) significantly worse than Beijing's air quality, which has led to me being trapped inside a lot of the time. Additionally, and maybe because of that, I've had a persistent migraine for several days, which has made it a bit difficult to function.

I don't bring this up to complain, just to say that it's been a little bit of a slow week for me in general, but at least I've made a little progress, as I noted above. Also, this all comes after a pretty big release milestone, getting Nobuko's stuff done and everything. I just wish if I were having an unproductive week I could actually enjoy it...
