Update - Shizu goes dumpster diving (Patreon)

tl;dr - I'm working on finishing up some writing for the soon-to-come next $10 release.

What's Shizu hunting for in there? Going through the garbage, I'd say she's being pretty cheeky.

Posing and getting the details right on this image was a lot of work, but I had fun doing it. Apart from adding props and posing Shizu, I spent a while getting the skirt position to look right, as well as retexturing the dumpster and adding the stickers to it.

It was a nice one to make because I just had a picture of it in my head and I was able to bring it about pretty much as I imagined it. And while I didn't have a plan for this as a scene before it got me thinking about how I could use it in the course of the story. (There's actually a couple of ways I could use it, but I have to make up my mind on that.) It's nice when an interesting image can help inspire a new scene.

I've included the widescreen version as well in the gallery, (that's a new Patreon feature) as well as the next moment when she notices you're there and looks up. Got a preference for either version?

Writing

I've been trying to get some writing done for the next update. I've pretty much got the images and animations I need done for this month, (although I probably need to do some revision of a complex animation to take out a graphical error and that's going to take some time) so really the main thing I need to do is get the writing for the scenes finished.

I have been making progress, but it's been slow. I've been stressed about various things lately and inspiration has been intermittent - occasionally I actually do get some interesting stuff down, but it's usually only for a short period every day. Therefore I've sort of permitted myself to play around with stuff like the image above; elements that aren't really needed right now, but just seem interesting to me.

Next release - what's in it?

The next $10 patrons' release will be coming soon and is planned to have more plot scenes, as well as the first Nobuko date and flashback scenes. Not the full Nobuko story yet, sadly, as it's just not all ready yet, but there's a substantial interactive sex scene included in what's coming up. I'm not sure how many plot scenes I'll include, but I'm probably going to have another flashback in there and several days' worth of events.

The next public release will include Emi's story, all the way to her becoming Shuji's girlfriend again - basically, everything in the latest $10 release, plus a couple of new technical changes: the mini-map for the apartment to smooth out moving around there a bit, plus the new cheat system. There's three cheats in the game right now: a boost to the effectiveness of dating (kind of an "easy mode"), a cash boost and a jealousy reset to zero. This release will come soon after the next $10 release is out.
