tl;dr - I've added more conversation menus and interaction, and I've been working on Emi scenes and plot scenes for the early July release.

So this shot is part of the new conversation system stuff that I've put in for the next update. There are some cutaways at some points to focus on details like this ;) and I've also put in some changing expressions. Emi, Nobuko and Shizu all have conversation menus now, and Emi and Shizu have voice acting in them.

Preparing version 0.7 for an early July release

My focus for my work right now is to get the release ready for next month. It's important to do that now, because even if I didn't want an early release for the month (which I do) I'm going on holiday for the first two weeks, so that's going to prevent me from getting it all in place in the first week. I have to have it ready before I go, obviously.

To that end I've been working fairly successfully on getting the next few Emi scenes done, as well as some plot scenes. I think the next release will probably only have the plot done to day 5, because day 6 is kind of complicated and I will probably not have it done in time. It should be a pretty good sized content update, though, and I'll be in a position to keep up the pace okay on more content additions for the foreseeable future, I think.

The Emi stuff should be a bit of a surprise, I think, even if you've seen everything I've put in for Emi so far. I held off on the biggest twists until I could follow them up properly. I also commissioned a whole bunch of voice acting for her, since I knew this stuff coming up was important.
