I'd probably make the map smaller, luckily this reader is adjustable.

Yeah, you can tweak it as you see fit. I think the text box probably doesn't need to be any bigger than it is - the blocks of text will never be bigger than about a third of the text box on that resolution, but the map can probably shrink a little too.
