Update - Mika at the club (Patreon)

This week's image

I was a little stuck for which image to show this week, because I don't want to show the commissioned stuff that I've been working on right now and otherwise I've been getting together these pictures for the base gameplay of PAT that aren't maybe as sexy as you might want to see.

Still, this is a new outfit for Mika here. What do you think? I may still change it up a bit, but for now I thought I'd try it out here. Click on the image to get a closer look.

Next PAL update

I'm going to try (don't know if I'll succeed) to do an early update this month for PAL and not finish all the commissions in one go. I'm trying to push my releases to an earlier stage in the month in general, which I think would be better for patrons who tend to prefer not getting releases close to the end of the month. At the time of writing I've only got to make a couple more pictures and then do some writing to finish two of the commissions; the pictures will take a little while but the writing's the hard part as it requires inspiration, but I think it's going okay.

What I'm shooting at including is a Fumi commission, a Kimiko/Rio commission and a couple of set up scenes for the Masami/Fumi ending, without the ending itself. That's basically 50% of each of the remaining commissions, so I'll try to get the other half of each of them done next month instead. I could instead try to take a couple of weeks to really nail down the commissions and get them all done at once, but I don't really think that helps too much.

PAT work

I'm trying to devote as much time as I can spare to PAT work at the moment. My focus right now is on:
a) Writing the early parts of the game.
b) Planning out story and character beats so I know where it's going and every character has a clear identity and voice.
c) Making images that I'm going to need for the basic gameplay.

All of that stuff is going to be necessary in order for me to be able to put out a strong first demo. It's also mostly not the stuff you particularly sign on for in the game, I know, but it's the spine of it. Once I've got the core gameplay and story intro down then I can riff off that and add content, like spokes from a wheel.

The Patreon "fraud" problem

Looks like that fraudulent charging problem I mentioned earlier in the week is mostly resolved, at least for me. I seem to have got the charges through that I'm supposed to, more or less. Thanks to anyone who went to the trouble of fixing the problem on your end, even though you didn't create it! Hopefully this is the end of this particular drama.
