I've got two things to talk about here: first, the little announcement I did for Mika seems to have been popular, so here's another picture of her (from a different angle) in one of my newer environments. Even though this is just a test shot, I think it turned out really nicely. What do you think? Should I find a reason to put it in the game?

You'll note, if you're paying attention, that she's got a different hat in this pic. I'm actually planning several different hats for her in the game; there's the flat-bill 'Murica hat you saw in the last pic, the shiny backwards-cap in this one (goes with her skateboard - you'll see that soon enough, or on my Discord server: https://discord.gg/nn9G3ZB ) and a pink cowgirl hat to go with her micro-bikini at the beach. ;) That's something I've posted in the patrons-only channel on Discord too, if you're interested. She likes to accessorise.

Oh, and after all the talk about Mika's name earlier in the week... I still kind of like the name Mika. :) I mean, I'm never really committed to anything if there's room for improvement, but it sounds right to me, for whatever reason. I'm still open to discussion on the issue, though, if you want to make another argument for a change in the comments or on the Discord server.

Pervert Action: Legacy v1.12.0

I've only just released PAL v1.12.0, so I thought I'd mention what's in it. Just briefly, here are the features:

  • The three remaining collector card achievements have been implemented! (3 pics.)
  • There are four new monster powers.
  • There is a new fourth stage for Hiroshi's night service requests in the billiard room with each of the maids! (7 pics total.)
  • There's a special Iku/Kim/Hiroshi scene. (3 pics.)
  • Now in Fumi, Iku and Kimiko's one-on-one endings, if you've followed one of their Hiroshi branches, Kenji will briefly reflect on what that might mean for the future. (Also in the Kim/Iku ending.)
  • There's some pictures and an outline from a cut "Hiroshi wins" ending now available in the victory suite. (2 pics.)
  • Plus some revised and extra pictures, as well as some bug fixes.

This latest release was about clearing out some stuff that I had partially ready to go and needed to be wrapped up before I enter the final stage of PAL. Next month I'm going to be finishing up a selection of patron-commissioned material, which I think you're going to like too. :)

Here's one last question, before I go: is there anything you really think should be in PAL before I wrap up the 2.0 release? Obviously I'm trying to get it finished now and I don't want major new content additions, because that kind of work load would be hard to finish when I'm trying to shift over to getting a playable version of PAT ready, but I'm still very keen to hear if you've got any remaining ideas of how to make PAL as good as it can be. PAL has a blorb version, which isn't a straight-up Mac version, but can be run on a Mac in a couple of different ways (there's some instructions in the zip). Some people use Mono for Mac to run the Adrift engine, while others have told me they prefer to just use a virtual PC.
