I bought a new microphone! Not really sure if it's the right kind of microphone for audio roleplays tho. Should I return it and get a different one? Aaaaa idk

The close-up in-ear stuff is top tier ASMR! It sounds like it would be really good for a 'whispering to your crush' type audio. But, tbh, I thought the quality of your audios was perfect already ☺️

I think it's good for close-ups and ASMR types of audios. But maybe not for roleplaying? I'm not sure, maybe I'm not used to it's sound yet.

The sound quality is very good; however, with your normal "In the middle" sound it is slightly shifted to the right ear. Maybe I'm just crazy... For head on, I know you want something directional, akin to the Blue Yeti. But sound engineer I am not, so take it with a grain of salt.

I definitely got some tingles during the demonstration.

It could be good in a roleplay where the listener is laying next to the character and whispering in there ear or something maybe

I agree with you that it would be great for the typical sound triggers ASMR but it might be limited for role play ASMR. Maybe it would be useful if you are playing multiple people idk lol

I see some other things like this but yeah maybe try some traditional ASMR for Patreon or think of some creative way to include it in your regular content instead of just returning it. Could be cool lol

If you're looking for a microphone that has more stereo functions, I'd recommend looking into a microphone similar to the the Hyperx Quadcast. That microphone has a selector to switch its polar pattern so you can turn on and of recording in stereo. I think something similar to that would work great.

It actually sounds like being talked to, pretty realistic, like I have worse hearing in my left ear than right, testing jet engines seems to impact your hearing, who knew lol, anyway I could hear like to do in real life. I guess though you would, as you said, have to speak up, or in your script decide where you are in relation to who you are talking to and replicate that while recording. You would I guess need to take into consideration the other ear needs to hear some of what is being said. Not sure I am making sense but say you were to the left of who you are talking to, you could record left centre, not sure this makes any more sense lol. Anyway it sounded great and hi just found you and I am already in love with everything you have done so far but the vampire series is very much my favourite. Thank you for all this amazing content, glad I found you and can support here on patreon.
