Ever since M13 I've said that Nicol Bolas is searching for the Mox Beacon. The Mox Emerald and Mox Pearl were destroyed, but the Grixis colored Moxen were fused into a super-powerful artifact called the Mox Beacon. And to me, it seems like the only realistic reason for Nicol Bolas to be so fascinated with artifacts is to gain hold of the one that makes Grixis aligned mages super powerful.

Well, good news: Damnation is indeed getting reprinted! Yay! But, not as part of Amonkhet, but rather a month before that in Modern Masters 2017. So.... half-props?
