I do have to have a mild complaint about your analysis on the Toyger. Or maybe just a comment. Let's call it a comment. I won't argue about our opinion in regards to the quality of the box having not seen it, but I don't think you're giving the size issue it's fair due. The Toyger is not saving any space in terms of volume. In fact, it's giving up some. But none of the boxes you compare with come close to cutting off the depth the box uses anywhere close to the Toyger. The Toyger should have a shortest dimension that's about half of the shortest dimension of every other box. There are going to be certain flat containers that won't come close to holding the other boxes or will bulge significantly. People who want to carry the cards in a modern briefcase, for example, would find this shape far more appealing that any other you had. But, despite all of that, I think there is a strong argument against the design beyond technical flaws. If you actually need to reduce the depth of the cards and use a long box, maybe the right box design is 2 or 3 flat compartments next to each other. This doesn't waste any space or risk the issues the tilting of the deck does. You just have to accept your box is in multiple slots.
