WotC broke my back with the collector booster boxes. I try and support them because I love the game and the artwork and the community but geeze... I love opening the packs and getting great cards and premium foils but I cannot justify the new price of cardboard.

Yeah. I am a whale, but this has no value to me. I'm skpping. (But I was going to skip this even before the review, since 2xMasters is kinda poo.)

This reads like a joke.

The last time I spent money on WotC products was for a C20 deck and a prelease kit for THB to support my game store. I have since been holding off, because as someone who enjoys bling and fancy art, but could not care less about the financial value of their collection, I don't want a big part of my enjoyment of the hobby be declared as for rich people only (which I'm definitely not, I'm just a student with poor impulse control), and I'm getting tired of constantly being told !THiS pRodUct Is nOt fOr YoU!". Power creep is warping the formats that are usually safe from it, which means there is basically no getting away from WotC's new design philosophy. EDH is starting to see this, too, and I'm not looking forward to seeing how 70+ new designed for EDH legends will impact the format. So I'm beginning to think that this game I used to love is not for me anymore, and I honestly don't WANT to support a company that so openly aims to exploit its customers.
