I actually really wish the Starter Decks were still around and available at Big Box Stores. I have a bunch of kids that started playing Magic, and they are always desperate for lands when starting out. And as many lands as I have, I can only support a SMALL army of new magic players. ;-)

I feel like the Challenger decks are the closest thing to what starter decks should be. Cards that COULD actually work if you made some tweaks to the deck contents. In general though, it's something to get you started at a FNM event. AmIRite?

Personally I bought so many of those Onslaught tournament packs. It was the same price as 3 boosters but you also got lands. Coming back into magic i find it hard getting enough lands without getting planeswalkers decks or fat packs.
