There have been a few extraordinarily excellent products, and many, many extraordinary failures as well as everything in between, but here, in this video, I will professorially pit the two absolute best brands against one another. But no matter what these two are the best of the best, even though neither is perfect I do not feel any other sleeve currently comes close to either! Both are top A grades and both are without any doubt in my mind the best card sleeves currently on the market. Please note, this will be a brief summary review, as each of these products has been reviewed at length previously. If you’d like to see the most recent, FULL review for each item, a link to the original review has been listed in this video’s description.

I think this outfit is my favorite of yours I've seen.

One thing I've noticed about Eclipse sleves that you didn't mention was that they indent and crease VERY easily. I have a few crumbs on my floor at home. And since I make a lot of decks, sometimes I'll drop a sleeve. I've noticed that unless you step on them, Dragon Shield sleeves won't get indents, allowing you to just brush them off. But Eclipse sleeves will get indents easily, essentially marking the sleeve. Additionally, Eclipse sleeves crease very easily. Sometime the durability itself is less important that the sleeve's ability to not get marked, since getting marked might as well destroy the sleeve.

This might not seem relevant. "Just don't have crumbs". But LGSs have crumbs as well (All of them do.) and grains of sand are everywhere, no matter where you go. It doesn't feel good to be playing in a tournament, drop a card while shuffling, and need to replace the sleeve just because you dropped a card. This hasn't happened to me in a tournament, but it has happened to me in casual play.

I use the Ultimate Guard Boulder as my deck boxes, which fits Double Sleeved Dragon Shield just fine. The Boulders also fit great in my Pirate Lab Large Carrying Case. I haven't noticed an issue with Double Sleeving in Dragon Shield. I have all of my cards in the Smoke inner sleeves. I have different decks in different colors of sleeves.

Fun side note on the Eclipse sleeves: I run a couple Collector's Edition cards in my Commander decks and because of the black background, the square corners are basically invisible and they look the same as cards with rounded corners. Probably not a thing that would affect one's purchasing decisions but it's cool that my four dollar Earthquake looks like a four-hundred dollar Earthquake.

Will a Leifkicker Hinged Skull Deck Box fit 100 cards double-sleeved in Dragon Shields?
