From prereleases to PAX to styles inspired by but legally distinct from classic magic cards, even game designers can be proudly pinned to your lapel. In this video I will both look at the history of, the quality of, and the consumer market availability of pins for Magic: The Gathering. You’d think that the overwhelming pintrest in these enamel push pieces would persuade wizards to produce products for us to purchase, but that simply is not the case. Let’s take a look! Did you know there’s a lot to learn about pins in terms of overall quality? It’s true. Let’s start with the most important lesson in pin-u-cation: the clutch. There are three commonly used clutch types: butterfly, rubber, and deluxe.
