Very very good. Informative,,illuminating, refreshingly unorthodox. I was expecting you to mention the present Russian government’s program aimed at populating Siberia and the Far East, but one cannot have everything :))

This was a great episode, please do more about the Russian Revolution. I'd love to hear how it happened, particularly paying attention to any foreign actors who helped antagonize things further and I'd also like to hear if there is any truth in the Jewish/Communist alliance conspiracies. Maybe you can end by describing what might have been the best course of action to prevent the revolution and to create a strong Russia for the modern age. With the benefit of hindsight it's plausible we can do that

Like for example why was Tsarist Russia so bad at controlling the revolutionaries? Why did Russia try to expand its borders at a time when they had so much internal conflict? Is it true the Jews were using their privileged position to control the media in order to topple the Tsar and bring in the Marxists? Which faction gaining power would have been best for Russia? How do the Black Hundreds compare to other factions? And after the revolution, what were the pros and cons of the USSR? How was the USSR different under Lenin, under Stalin and post Stalin. The USSR started out as a mistake but did it ever turn into something great for Russians or was it always just oppressive? What is something that the USSR and Tsarist Russia did which Russia should be doing today but isn't? I have countless questions but I'll leave it here 😂

Was an interesting listen. I had heard some of this information on the Revolutions podcast but it was nice to get another perspective.

I enjoyed this. Rather bittersweet, how close Russia was to an empowered, landed class of agrarians only to be destroyed by the leftists terrorists.

Would y’all be interested in doing an episode on the Ukrainian vs. Russian Orthodox Church?

just wondering, do the creators of this show have a political leaning? I'm sensing "russian nationalism" and wondering if there is like a "left/right" analysis that can be applied here - a lot of really good interesting info either way -- but I've seen some dude named "young hitler" on here and that shit is really concerning -- would love to know what sort of ideologies are at work here --- also would like to understand russian nationalism better if at all possible.
